Den hvide Dame
Our ŕ la carte restaurant, Den hvide Dame (The White Lady), has developed its own original kitchen profile, which makes Hindsgavl Slot a culinary experience worthy of a long drive. Everything is prepared and served with pride and eagerness by our 18-man kitchen team, which includes specialist chefs and its own confectioner.
Every day, the kitchen conjures up its Menu of the Day, and for every month of the year we prepare a Castle menu. To accompany our menus, we offer an exciting selection of wines. Our menus are always based on fresh and seasonal ingredients. When the season allows, our own kitchen and herb garden supplies us with fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs.
Restaurant Den hvide Dame is named after a young bride who perished with her coach on her way to marry a squire at Hindsgavl Slot. Legend has it that she haunts the castle grounds, where she appears before male guests to the castle at midnight.
